Research, co-design & human-centred development of a national miscarriage information resource
Jade co-leads Miscarriage Australia, a research program focused on improving information, care and support for people affected by miscarriage and early pregnancy loss.
She led the research, co-design and development of the Miscarriage Australia website, using a human-centred design approach to understand the needs of people affected by miscarriage and translate these insights into accessible, evidence-based information.
The resource was developed in collaboration with consumers, people with lived experience, healthcare professionals, design experts and a multidisciplinary clinical advisory group. Jade led the development and review of the evidence-based content, consumer research, prototyping and usability testing, ensuring the final resource reflected the needs and experiences of its intended users.
The website has become a widely used and referenced source of miscarriage information, with content referenced by government, health organisations, clinical bodies and pregnancy and women's health organisations.

Miscarriage Matters – National Miscarriage Education & Awareness Program, Australian Goverment| Whereto Research | 2025-2026
Jade was engaged as a subject matter expert on the national Miscarriage Matters program, led by Whereto Research and commissioned by the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.

Bilardi & Co led an evaluation examining the impact of embedding a Sexual Wellness Action Plan within The University of Melbourne’s Centre for Excellence in Rural Sexual Health (CERSH) led Mildura Community of Practice.
The evaluation demonstrated the initiative's strong impact in enhancing collaboration, coordination, and awareness of sexual and reproductive health services and activities throughout the Mildura region.

Victorian Perinatal Autopsy Service Evaluation Royal Women's Hospital | 2025-2026
Bilardi & Co are leading an evaluation of the Victorian Perinatal Autopsy Service at the Royal Women's Hospital, examining the impact of the new centralised referral and transport arrangements for families affected by stillbirth and neonatal loss.
The evaluation is assessing how effectively the service improves referral pathways and communication, while enhancing support and experiences for healthcare professionals and bereaved families.

Co-design of Programs to Support Women GP Supervisors Primary care workforce, General Practice Supervision Australia | 2024
Jade was engaged by General Practice Supervision Australia (GPSA) to support an RACGP-funded project exploring how to attract, support and retain women GP supervisors.
The project resulted in two co-designed programs: an Orientation to Supervision Program and a Mentoring Community of Practice Program, both subsequently piloted and evaluated.

Consumer and Healthcare Research & Development of CRAIDLE | 2025-2026
Jade was engaged to advise and undertake research to support the consumer testing and development of CRAIDLE, a purpose-designed resource for the moment first-trimester pregnancy tissue passes, across all first-trimester pathways.
Her role included advising on the consumer research approach and supporting the consumer testing of the CRAIDLE suite of care resources. She also undertook consultations with healthcare professionals to understand the need for CRAIDLE within clinical practice and identify opportunities for its use in extended settings.
